Figure Skate Size Guide

To find the right size for your figure skates, it is important to measure your foot correctly. Figure skates should fit snugly for the best control and performance.

How to measure your foot:

  1. Stand on a piece of paper with your heel against the wall
  2. Mark where your longest toe ends
  3. Measure the distance from the wall to the mark in centimeters
  4. Use the longer measurement if your feet are different sizes
  5. Preferably measure in the evening, when your feet are at their largest

NOTE: Figure skates are normally 0.5–1 size smaller than regular shoes.

Important tips for the right fit:

  • Brand differences: Different brands may have slightly different sizing—always try them on if possible
  • Fit: Skates should fit snugly but not hurt—your toes should just touch the front
  • Break-in: New skates need to be broken in gradually for maximum comfort
  • Width: Contact us if your feet are wider or narrower than average
  • Growth: For children, you can choose 0.5 size larger to allow for growth
