Rockerz Skate Guards. Combine your own unique design by choosing the color of four parts. To get a pair of skate guards you need to choose 4 parts.

Inform us in the form above which brand of blades you have, model, and size of the blades. For example Brand: Ultima, Model Legacy8, Size 9 1/4

Also choose between sprinkles in silver or gold. If you do not specify, it will be silver

We assemble them for you at no extra cost. If you do not provide any information, we will send them unassembled.

Information for you who order Rockerz skate guards and have blades from Paramount or Ultima Matrix

We always cut and assemble according to what you as a customer specify for the model of the blade and the size of the blade. If you do not provide that information, we will send the guards uncut and unassembled. If you are unsure which blade and size you have, contact us.

If you have Ultima Matrix Blades or Paramount blades, a gap occurs and a special adjustment of the guards is required because these blades are a bit wider than a traditional blade and therefore take up more space. Therefore, a little extra manual adjustment from you as a customer is required for the guards to fit perfectly.

1. Heating in the oven

Place a baking paper on a baking tray or an ovenproof dish.

Place your assembled Rockerz standing on the baking paper.

Preheat a household oven to 160 degrees

Place the guards in the middle of the oven for about 5 minutes, set a timer and don't forget them!

Take them out with protective gloves on both hands so you don't burn yourself on the metal parts that get hot. Quickly put the guards on your skates so that the blade's surface is in contact with the "floor"/bottom of the Rockerz guard. Both the rear and front parts need to be in place on the blades. Press them lightly against the floor and move them back and forth like a stepping motion. You may need to apply some force to achieve this. You can also try putting on your skates and walking lightly with the guards on. It is important that the guards fit correctly. Let the guards cool completely before removing them from the blades.

2. Alternative without oven heating, a faster option but it takes longer to get results

You can also choose to lubricate the guards with sewing machine oil, baby oil. You will not get a quick result but as you use your guards, the gap between the two parts will decrease as the blade sinks further and further down into the guards.
